We are delighted to announce the partnership with the National Academy of Sciences of Honduras, whith whom we are collaborating on communication, programming, and social interaction.
The National Academy of Sciences of Honduras seeks to interact with both public and private institutions nationally and internationally in policies that concern technological developments. Among other goals they wish to link scientists and researchers to each other by means of an institutional framework to channel their activities to help with specific national problems to help strengthen the country.
“For a knowledge society in the third decade of the 21st century, with a humanity ravaged by climate change, where there is a large part of the world’s population below the poverty line, with a sustainable development goals (SDG) and a 2030 Agenda that most countries will not be able to meet; we require of scientific engagement and adequate scientific government’s advice so that they can make better scientific evidence based decisions for that the humanity can carry out forward your economic and social development; for these reasons an international year of scientific engagement is of vital importance for the awareness of the governmental authorities of the world,” notes Prof. Dr. Mario Lanza Santamaría, President of the National Academy of Sciences of Honduras.
