Anwar Alfaidhi is Professor at the College of Science of the University of Mosul since 2008. He was Acting dean of college of Science University of Mosul since 2018 till 2019. Holding an PhD in Molecular Physics, he has published more than 29 research papers.
Anwar is part of the RESI project (Development of Education in Iraq), which is the framework of cooperation between the University of Mosul, TU Dortmund University and the University of Graz. The aim of the project is to promote scientific and cultural exchange between our universities and to establish training programs for students, researchers and young professors from various scientific disciplines. This collaboration is funded by the German Academic Exchange Organization (DAAD) and supported by a network of scientists, professors and other academics at all participating universities and even beyond. The project aims to promote peace, scientific spirit, academic discourse and sustainable development in the participating universities.
